How Systems iO and Tysers designed and rolled out Cconnect to modernise claims handling, workflow visibility and integrations.
Context
Cconnect is a Tysers claims handling application developed with Systems iO. It brings the claim record, correspondence, work items and management visibility together across the claims lifecycle.
The challenge
Tysers’ existing claims platform had become slow and difficult to change. The joint team needed to understand varied claims processes, replace a brittle workflow and support handlers and managers without losing control of confidential or time-sensitive work.
What Systems iO delivered
Systems iO worked with Tysers to design and build Cconnect. The application supports claim work items, diary events, confidential or conflicted claim access controls, ECF integration, Microsoft 365 email and SharePoint integration.
The outcome
Tysers rolled Cconnect out in phases after training, moving users from the legacy claims application. The phased rollout improved visibility and established a new claims process. The team also addressed migration, performance and configuration issues as users moved over.
How the implementation worked
The collaborative team included developers, business analysis, delivery and UX roles alongside Tysers claims specialists. Requirements, testing and user acceptance involved the people who would use the system.
Rollout proceeded in groups of 10–15 users following training. The team addressed nonstandard legacy references, large email attachments and performance issues during the move to the new workflow.
