Website information

Cookies and browser storage

The cookies and similar technologies used by this website, what they do and how you can manage them.

What browser storage means

Cookies are small values a website asks your browser to store and send with later requests. Session storage holds information within a browser tab. Both can support website features, and their purpose matters as well as the technology used.

Enquiry attribution

Optional tracking is off until you choose Accept optional tracking. If you accept, the session-storage entry sio-attribution remembers campaign labels and product, solution or industry context from links. The entry sio-source remembers the page from which you followed a Contact link. We use these details to understand which campaigns and pages generate enquiries.

With your acceptance, these details can be attached to your named contact enquiry, together with the consent-notice version and the time you accepted. They do not contain the text you type into the form. Session-storage values last for the tab’s session, although browser session restoration may restore them. They are not sent to a third-party analytics service. Rejecting optional tracking does not prevent you from reading the website, requesting a demo or sending an enquiry.

Staff sign-in and content preview

The content-management system uses a payload-token authentication cookie for staff who sign in. Its authentication token has a two-hour lifetime and can be renewed during use. Public visitors do not need to sign in to read the website or submit an enquiry.

Authorised content preview uses the __prerender_bypass session cookie to show unpublished revisions. It is removed when the editor exits preview. It does not grant access to a draft without a valid staff session.

Analytics and external services

If you accept optional tracking, we use Google Analytics to understand website visits, referring websites and successful enquiry and application counts. Google receives page paths, a referring website, cookie identifiers and technical information about your browser and device. We do not send enquiry text, names, email addresses, CVs or application answers as analytics events. We exclude URL query strings and fragments from our page events. Advertising features, Google signals, automatic form tracking and user-provided-data collection are disabled. We do not load Google Analytics before acceptance or when you reject optional tracking.

Links to LinkedIn, OutSystems and other websites take you to separate services. Those services have their own notices and browser-storage choices.

Managing website data

Use Tracking settings in the footer to accept or reject optional tracking at any time. Rejecting stops future optional tracking and removes our Google Analytics cookies and saved campaign and page details from browser tabs using this site. It does not delete information already submitted; contact info@systemsio.com about that information. The local-storage entry sio-tracking-preference stores your choice, notice version and time for 180 days. Google Analytics uses the _ga and _ga_L1748VT85T cookies for up to 180 days; you can remove them earlier by rejecting tracking or using your browser controls.

You can also inspect, block or remove website data in your browser. Clearing the saved preference makes the banner appear again, with optional tracking off until accepted. If the preference cannot be saved, optional tracking stays off and enquiries remain available. Removing authentication cookies signs staff out; blocking preview cookies prevents content preview. Browser controls vary by product and version.
